Set the machine on "gentle" or "delicate" for agitating, but use a fast spin (slow agitation is best but a fast spin will help get the garment as dry as possible). Wash in cool water with a mild detergent safe for wool and machine washing. Dissolve the detergent before adding the wool item. Never leave wool to soak for more than a few minutes; keep the wash as brief as possible. Rinse with cool water. Do not use chlorine bleach. Air-dry flat
